* NOVEMBER / DECEMBER 2005:
We got back from the Euro tour with some great shows under our belt and a lot of photos
to sort out. Drowned In Sound was kind enough to write
a review
of our London show with Minus The Bear. Tour log updates are around the corner.
* OCTOBER 2005:
Getting ready for the European tour, which is looking hot.
* JULY / AUGUST 2005:
We've been animals of leisure this summer. But we've got gigs. We've got gigs shaping up
in New York, and then
gigs all over Europe -- tour dates to come.
* JUNE 2005:
We are very sad to hear that Ram, the owner of Taco Land in San Antonio, has been killed by
some punks in his bar. Peace, Ram, thanks for everything.
* APRIL / MAY 2005:
We're
on tour.
Right now we are probably in your town, kicking your ass. Tour log updates to come.
* SxSW UPDATE:
We're back from SxSW's Southern Records showcase. Thanks to everyone who surprised us by packing
the place, and making us look good for
the press.
* MARCH 2005:
Tired of waiting? You can pre-order the new album now.
We went ahead and scored you a coupon at Insound.com for Twenty Paces, which ships 21 March.
Details on the
Listen/Shop page.
* FEBRUARY 2005:
The reviews for the new album, "Twenty Paces", are starting to show up on the
web. Check the
Listen/Shop page for an
excerpt from one. We also have an NYC gig on the
Gigs page, and Tone Deaf is starting to put
together the
national
spring tour.
* JANUARY 2005:
Happy 2005! The new album comes out March 21/22 in the US and Europe. We'll be at SxSW
right before then in a night of Southern Records bands, and in late April we'll start a full
U.S. tour that will bring us back to the west coast and the Emissions festival in Ohio.
* NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2004:
Thanks to everyone who made our Northsix show with J Mascis and Early Man such a success.
That was a great way for us to end the year, and to cap off fourteen months of touring in support of
Feeding Frenzy. We're going to take some time off from touring now,
and spend the winter writing. The new album, Twenty Paces, is set for U.S. and European
release in late March. We'll be starting to play again around then, so watch this space
for announcements.
* NOVEMBER 2004:
We're back from Germany, which treated us very well. More to come in our tour log, so stay tuned
to the site. In the meantime, see the shot below of what it looks like to drink garlic schnappps
in the former Karlmarxstadt, Chemnitz. We've got a post-tour blowout with our faves Oh My God
at Sin-E
this week, and new shows to announce very soon.
* OCTOBER 2004:
Thanks to everyone who came out and made our U.S. tour such a success. (Still working on finishing the
tour log!) We're playing
CMJ before we head to
Europe, so you New Yorkers should come out and watch
the mayhem.
* SEPTEMBER 2004:
The hot NYC shows keep piling up, even as we get in gear for fall tours in the U.S. and Europe. Check out the
shows page for details on NYC dates, and
Tone Deaf Touring
for details on other U.S. dates. Europe info to come.
* AUGUST 2004:
New NYC shows added! August 5 at Sin-E, September 16 at Lit. Check out the
shows page.
* JUNE/JULY 2004:
We've got a lot going on this summer. In June we enter the studio in Brooklyn to record our
next album for Southern Records. We'll be doing some limited playing in the northeast this
summer as we mix the record.

In September and October we'll tour the U.S., and then we're off to central Europe for the
second half of October. Details to come. Keep your pants on, K?
* MARCH 2004:
We whooped some ass at Lit, and now we're
outties.
Check the
tour log
* FEBRUARY 2004:
Thanks to everyone who packed Sin-e on 1/30. And thanks to Oh My God and the Giraffes! Our
next NYC show will be at
Lit on March 5th to
kick off our
March tour.

Also, keep your ears peeled on February 17th if you're watching
Queer Eye for the
Straight Guy, and you'll hear "Shipping & Handling". It's episode
#117 -- the guy's name is "Ralph Sutton".
* DECEMBER 2003:
We're back in beautiful NYC now, putting our civilian lives back together (laundry, rent, jobs)
and getting ready for the
show at Arlene's Grocery
on 12/5. It's our last show of 2003!
* NOVEMBER 2003:
Still going! We're going to have a tour round-up at Arlene's on December 5th
with The Mobius Band, and then we're taking a couple months off to write.

We got one of the big prog-rock sites to
review
Feeding Frenzy, and they said we're not prog. Funny, we were just about getting ready to accept
that we might possibly *be* prog after all.
* OCTOBER 2003:
Here we go
- the tour starts Wednedsay the 15th, and we don't stop until November 26th. See you on the road!

Also, check out the new
tour log.
* AUGUST 2003: Here's a review of the
upcoming
album, "Feeding Frenzy"
on PitchforkMedia.com.

U.S. RELEASE: 23 September

We're planning a
MASSIVE U.S. TOUR
for October and November. Missoula's going into lockdown
* JULY 2003: Our July tour was fantastic, and we've got some
great gigs back here in NYC this summer.
* APRIL 2003: We've signed with
Southern Records,
and now have great bands like Ui, 90 Day Men,
Ten Grand, and Karate as labelmates. This month we're recording our debut Southern album,
which should be out in the fall.
